I'm basically someone who's been recently permabanned from Aselia wiki. And of course, I can understand why since I've contiuously have violated rules.
As a result, since I still can't ignore Tales of content in general, then perhaps I would be able to offer some assistance in making this wikia grow and stand out, despite the already-strong foundations of Aselia.
But alas, I must warn you that I tend to get too iffy about translations; I tend to translate the names of Japanese attacks more literally than others, and I've often have violated the KusanagiLord-style of translation on the prior wikia multiple times.
I'm not sure if I'm able to help grow this wikia without trying to reference too much from Aselia (plagiarizing is fatal business that much anyone must understand), but to prevent what happened between me, Lanate and Arosia, I'm trying hard to ask for your confirmation despite me being possibly overcautious.
Also, since the road is going to be long to make this wikia more expansive than ever, I might as well tackle one thing at a time. I'm going to be occassionally spending time on fixing up the Tales of Phantasia pages and the Demon Fang Arte page, starting with Cress.
I am not sure how active you are on this wiki anymore, but since no one seems to be monitoring it, Lanate and I have had to take on this role ourselves. We don't want to monitor this wiki as much as you don't want us doing it, but you have to be wary of problem users who steal content from Aselia and plaster it on this wiki as their own. Lanate has reasoned with them far more than necessary, so I have taken matters into my own hands and removed the stolen content. If this continues, I will be contacting Staff to deal with the issue. They are already aware of this problem, and I have all the evidence I need. Thank you, and good luck with your wiki.
Sorry for the late reply. I had been away for a while due to bad circumstances with my old PC. I have reformed the content of the page so that it is this wiki's own. I had no idea that someone had done it because of my absence, nor did I expect it not to be from the actual person who had created the page. Apologies.
That aside. May I ask how you had noticed this/why were you on this wiki? It spikes curiosity, as if everything is being watched and filtered by someone so external to here. So, there must have been a way to find that the content made it to here, and I doubt a simple "Dragon" search would have done it.
It appears that it happened again with our Vortigern page, done by the same user. I realize that it's not your fault, but if there's any way to get across to that user that it is not appreciated, that would be great.
Once again, I am really sorry for this to happen. I have warned the user once before but I also take no note of the user's actions. I think it would be more effective if you would also comment of the user's page to show that their action has been noticed and actually impacts others.
I didn't want to overstep my bounds by attempting something on another wiki, because they've thus far ignored the warnings from ours. Would it be all right if I made a comment on their message wall here?
I understand what you mean. It is all right to do so. If a personal message were directed at the user from the source, then it would be more effective for the one on the receiving end. By all means, comment on their message wall.
Hello! I'm the current leader/owner of the Tales wiki over on Neoseeker. We've both gotten flack from a certain other Tales wiki for existing it seems. Would you be interested in affiliating with my wiki? I could always use help with mine!
Sure! I would love to be affiliated. One user told me that they also gave flack over at Neoseeker and then also directed towards this one. The series belongs to no-one, except Namco Bandai Entertainment and the development group within. Not a percent belongs to this one you are mentioning of.
I would love to be affiliated. I need the help. I can also help with yours. We'll both leave an affiliated tab (once I sort everything out), life is busy and my old computer died out.
